Go to the light.

I had been chomping at the bit to hit one of my favorite "little fish" havens for quite some time now. The water was still a bit high and tremendously cold from the epic runoff`, but my son and I gave it our best and came out on top with a couple of very colorful wild rainbows.....and one very drowned camera lol.

Good times Ant, thank you for choosing to spend this day with me in breathtaking country....until next time.

Independence Day

While I await our epic snow pack to run its course through our swollen rivers and streams, I thought that I would share a non fly fishing portion of my life that I enjoy on an annual basis. The city of Folsom is where I grew up, and every year it puts on a Rodeo extravaganza to recognize the birth of our nation and honor those who serve.

Unfortunately, this year I probably had the worst seats in the house for photography but still managed to capture a few decent shots and a couple of videos for your enjoyment.

Thanks for looking, and Happy Birthday America.

My best friend.
